Company Policies

  1. Working Hours:

  2. STIFFENERS working time starts @ 9:00 A.M and ends @ 5:30 P.M. It is made compulsory that none of the employees should stay in office and work post 5:30 P.M. A grace time of 30Minutes shall be given to wind up off and leave work place. Employees should plan and work accordingly and make sure their job is getting done in the stipulated time. Employees working beyond this time limit will be considered as non performing staffs which will reflect in their respective KRA.

  3. Dress Code:

  4. All the employees of STIFFENERS should follow the professional way of dressing (i,e) strictly formals from Monday to Friday and casuals on Saturdays. Shoes are mandatory on all days.

  5. Leave & Holidays:

  6. Every year the Govt Holidays list will be displayed in the notice board. Apart from Govt holidays any leave taken by the staffs should be informed to the management well in advance(i,e) before a week. Any short period announcement of leave will not be granted (or) it may be considered as loss of pay leave. Short note leave is allowed only in case of medical emergency and only in case of any unexpected emergency situations. A maximum of consecutive 5 days of leave will be granted post which loss of pay for each day will be applicable for permanent employees. Loss of pay will be applicable for the employees in probation period for the leave they take during the probation period.

  7. Salary Revision:

  8. Your salary will be reviewed on april 1st of each year, or at such time as the management may decide. Salary revisions are discretionary and will be subject to, and on the basis of effective performance and result..

  9. Promotions:

  10. Promotions and elevations are subjected to the KRA(Key Result Area) and it will be done in every 3 years. The employee has to perform in all the aspects continuously for 3 years in order to get promoted. The KRA sheet will be prepared and review of KRA sheet will be done by the Managing directors of the company on April month of every financial year.

  11. Bonus:

  12. 1month salary or a maximum of Rs 20000 will be provided as bonus every year only for permanent employees. Bonus will not be applicable for employees in probation period. Bonus amount will be divided into 3 parts and 1 part will be retained by the company. Balance two parts will be provided during festive seasons accordingly. The retained amount will get carry forwarded in the subsequent financial year and will be paid during the festive season. Thus every year one part of bonus amount will be lying with the company for every financial year. This retained amount will be settled to the employee at his time of resignation after all the necessary formalitie.

  13. Probation:

  14. That you will be on probation period of six months. The period of probation can be extended at the discretion of the management and you will be on probation till an order of confirmation has been issued in writing.

  15. Full Time Employment:

  16. Your position shall be on whole time employment with the company and you shall devote yourself exclusively to the business and interest of the firm. You will not take up any other work for
    remuneration(Part time or otherwise) or work in an advisory capacity, or be interest directly or indirectly ( expect as shareholder/debenture holder) in any other trade or business during your
    employment with the firm, without permission in writing of the firm. You will also not seek membership of local or public without first obtaining specific permission from the management..

  17. Confidentiality :

  18. You will not, at any time during the employment of after, without the consent of the firm disclose or divulge or make public expect on legal obligations any information regarding the firm’s affairs or administration or research carried out, whether the same is confided to you or becomes known to you in the course of your service or otherwise.

  19. Termination of employment:

  20. Your service may be terminated on either side by giving three month’s notice or salary in lieu there upon termination of the employment you will immediately hand over to the company all
    correspondence, specifications, formulae, books, documents, market data, cos data, drawings affect or records belonging to the company or relating to its business and shall not retain or make copies of these items.

    Upon termination you will also return all company property, which may be in your possession.

  21. Responsibilities & Duties:

  23. Entertainments & Staff welfares:

    1. Your work in the organization will be subject to the rules and regulations of the organization as laid down in relation to conduct discipline and other matters. You will always be alive to responsibilities and duties attached to your office and conduct yourself accordingly, you must effectively perform to ensure results.

    2. You will not accept any present commission or any sort of gratification in cash or kind from any person, partly or firm of company having dealing with the company and if you are offered any. You should immediately report the same to the management.

    Every 1st week of April in each FY is allotted for tour programme either within India or Abroad. Board will decide and fix the place and the amount to be spent by end of 3rd quarter of each FY. Employees may have to put in their own money if the tour expense crosses the budget. Company shall provide complete travel and stay expenses. Food expenses have to be borne by the employees. Additional family member expenses to be borne by the respective employees

    Every 1st week of all months, company will arrange for a team outing either for lunch or a Movie

    Every year office day will be celebrated on April 1st of every financial year. Apart from this company will encourage decoration of office in all festival seasons accordingly

    Each employee birthday will be celebrated with gifts and cake cutting

    Every year depending upon the reviews best employee will be selected and stiffeners shall award him accordingly

    Every year gifts will be given to all employees for New year.
